Gartners Hype Cycle 2012 für neue Technologien

Gartner hat vor etwas längerer Zeit seinen „Hype Cycle 2012 for emerging technologies“ veröffentlicht. Wie dieser ausschaut, zeigt die unten dargestellte Graphik. Schön zu erkennen ist, dass Themen wie Cloud Computing, aber auch Internet TV und das Bezahlen per NFC ihren Hype hinter sich haben und vorerst abebben werden. Interessanterweise befinden sich Bereiche wie das Crowdsourcing, Big Data, Gamification oder gar HTML5 laut Gartner noch vor ihrem eigentlichen Hype, obwohl seit mehreren Jahren bereits darüber geschrieben und diskutiert wird.
