Dropbox verdoppelt die Speicherkapzität seines Cloud Storage für Pro Accounts

Cloud Storage Anbieter Dropbox hat – per sofort – die Kapazität für seine Pro Accounts kostenlos erhöht. Somit wurde der Speicherplatz für zahlende Nutzer nun von 50GB auf 100GB sowie von 100GB auf 200GB erhöht. Zusätzlich wurde ein neuer Tarif mit 500GB angekündigt.

Dropbox reagiert auf den Markt

Mit Google Drive und Microsoft SkyDrive tummel sich mittlerweile ernst zunehmende Mitbewerber auf dem Markt der Cloud Storage Services – vor allem in Bezug auf den Preis. Mit der Verdoppelung der Speicherkapazität reagiert Dropbox erstmalig auf die Angebote der anderen Anbieter.

Die Preise bleiben stabil

Trotz der Verdoppelung des Speicherplatzes für Pro Account Nutzer bleiben die Preise stabil. 100GB kosten im Monat nun 9,99 US-Dollar. Für 200GB zahlt man 19,99 US-Dollar. Der monatliche Preis für die 500GB wurde bisher noch nicht genannt.
